10 reasons to come back to Aroma

1. À la carte restaurant and events venue

The restaurant has a dual function, it’s both a restaurant and an events venue, but that is precisely why we think we are special. We wanted the wonderful view of Cluj to be admired not only by the participants at the events we organise, mostly during the weekend.

Likewise, we consider that an à la carte restaurant with unique culinary dishes are wonderfully accompanied by an iconic view of the city.

2. Panoramic view of Cluj

Located in the heart of Transylvania, our beloved Cluj, the European Youth Capital in 2015, renowned for the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) or the Untold Festival, is one of the friendliest cities in Romania. Cluj-Napoca is a city that you discover both from inside and from outside.

Our restaurant is located on Feleacu hill, offering one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the city. Many times, we wonder what’s better: the deep view of the whole city during the day or the night sky and vibrant lights of Cluj. The correct answer: both!

3. Palocsay Orchard

Our country is so beautiful, and the area of Cluj has a lot to offer. Besides the panoramic view over Cluj, we are proud of the lovely entrance to our location from Calea Turzii, the wonderful Palocsay Orchard.

In the spring, all trees are coloured in a raw green. Late summer, the aromas of ripe apple hypnotise you. In autumn, the orchard turns into copper and rust colours, and in winter a white landscape like in fairy tales surrounds you.

This magical place should be admired by as many people, that is why we collaborate with a Runners Club and organize running trainings in the orchard for distances of 4-10 km.

4. Best dishes

Have you tried the beef tartare or the crepe suzette in our restaurant? The most interesting part of these dishes is that they are prepared right in front of you. Customers tell us they are the best in town. We dare you to try them, or you can order other delicious dishes from our menu: crunchy camembert, butterfly shrimp, gourmet burger, Surf and Turf, ribs, lamb chops, lava cake or cheese dumplings with blueberry jam.

5. Elegance and intimacy

Both Aroma restaurant and Sara's event room are designed by professionals to give you privacy and harmony. The rooms are classical and neoclassical decorated, with crystal chandeliers, in neutral or vibrant colours, having a modular partitioning offering guests privacy and a delightful view over the city. Each salon has a separate lounge so we can organise several events at the same time respecting the privacy of each one.

6. Spacious terrace and elegant interior

During the summer we expect you on our panoramic terrace to serve lunch and dinner. For spring, late fall and cool evenings we have options to warm you up, whether it's a whiskey on the rocks, a cognac, a hot chocolate or just a soft blanket.

In the cold season we have four elegant salons for dining or organising social events.

The word: Instagrammable has recently entered our daily dictionary. What does it mean exactly? A perfect person or location to be photographed and uploaded to digital social media platforms, such as Instagram. We say we are very Instagrammable place: flowers, mirrors, nature, elegance and harmony. We’ll be waiting for you whether you are professional and amateur photographer.

White, rose or red; dry, demi-dry or sweet, you will find it in our winery list.

The wines in our menu are carefully chosen to complement a lunch, an evening with friends or a high class private event.

We have wines from prestigious Romanian wineries, but also from the famous vineyards from other countries: Alira, Avincis, Corcova, Davino, Boieru Domains, Panciu Domains, Galicea Mare, Gitana, Jelna, Liliac, Petro Veselo, Recas, Serve, Știrbei, Tohani.

The wine menu is complemented by a wide selection of sparkling wines, prosecco or champagne.
